How To Install an Addon
1. First you need to download the file to a place you can access easily for example your desktop is an easily accessible spot and you can always delete the file after you install it.
2. After the file is downloaded double click on the file. I am installing a threat meter as an example on how to do it but all addons are installed the same way.
3. When you double click on it it should bring up a window looking something like the picture below. you need to highlight the files listed and click the extract to button.
4. After you have highlighted the files and clicked the extract to button you then need to select where you want it to go. Most people who just let WOW install where it wants will find it at
C:\program files\World of Warcraft\interface\addons
5. This is what it should look like after you click the extract to button and have selected the right folder. To get to that folder you just need to click your C: drive then prgramfiles then world of warcraft then interface then highlight addons and click ok
6. After you have clicked ok you should see a status bar extracting the files and that is it now just start up wow and make sure it is running. You can check that when you get to your character selection page and see the addons button at the bottom right.
